Default ALL MOTOR tC- looking for advice

I understand the obsession with turboing our beloved tC's on this here website, but after carefully searching I cannot seem to find too much info on anyone building an all motor stompin machine! After too many bad experiences with turbos Im lookin to take an all motor tC to the next level. ANYBODY GOT ANY ADVICE?

Port and polish, bore and stroke, bigger injectors, bigger cams, then a good tune.

are we talking standalone for the tune? Ive looked into the emanage ultimate, and the AEM system, but im more of a hands on guy, and havent worked too much on the programming aspect

You won't find much because there isn't much about it. It's too much work for too little of a gain.

I guess im still one of the rare few who would rather rock as much torque as possible and avoid turbo lag completely. The work is the best part!! As soon as you get all that power youre looking for out of a turbo, you ready for something different!

If you want instant torque, why the hell are you driving a DBW 4-banger? And you're right about the turbo. I'm bored of it which is why I'm leaving 4bangers asap. I easily made 300whp and while I love it, I'd just rather get a big ___ V8 and have so much more potential, and make more HP/TQ without any extra effort.

Not for a year or two. I still owe too much on it, but I'll part it out and trade it in. I've already made up my mind on my next car.

And to not completely threadjack...if you're looking to DD N/A, you're not going to break 230WHP N/A unless you plan on having someone make higher compression pistons (higher than the current avail ones) and plan on running more than 93 octane.

Im actually startin a new job for the DoD so within the next year I will have stuck the tC in the garage for messin around, and Ill have my G8!! Thanks for all the info so far!

I would us a standalone for tuning. Also helps to have a dyno handy.

You might as well stick to I/H/E then, something you can remove and sell later on.

Not a fan of the G8, if it'll have the 6.2L V8, then we'll have the same motor .

Corvette? Look at me jacking my own thread lol. I wasnt a fan myself til I actually got to drive one. When they say you get all the refinement of a BMW M3 with half the cost they arent kidding. Not as smooth suspension wise, and doesnt have the same sound, but the G8 is a beast!

No, something newer and meaner looking . The new Vette's are amazing though. They really did refine them to new standards. I just can't wait to have all that power. The LS3 will put 400-420 down with just I/H/E :D.

There are so many posts that get jacked halfway through that it isnt always the easiest to find information on here lol. Ive got a lot of info for products and shops seeing as ptuning is a quick trip from my house, but i was really just looking for someone who had gone through the process before. Preciate all the help though!
