i just bought one off of a SL member and he said that you cannot use the oem brackets..

is this correct, and if so whats the fix/what do you use

 

I thought alphawerks used the oem mounting brackets for the header. my old one did.

 

for maybe like the heat shield? maybe he means?

you can't reinstall your heat shield..

 

the stock header has the 2 bolts that hold it to the motor block. the alphawerks should have the same thing as the oem header to mount it.

hey if you cant get it on then you can always use a engine torque damper to reduce the motor from shaking crazy.

but as far as there being no bracket for support, i was rolling around with no issues
