so i just got my hks hi power exhaust in today n im lookin for some headers that would work well wit the exhaust n make it sound nice n give me a gain at the same time ? ive been hearin the alphaworks works best wit this exhaust but i would like to know personal expeirienes n opinions that would help me out ? thanks

Well, I plan on getting the GReddy SP2 Exhaust and I already have the AW Header. Nice sound with a little rasp. But that'll go away with the exhaust. AW has the most gain and it's an aluminum finish so it'll look good too compared to the others.

i've been thinking about getting headers, but now i'm rethinking it, because my gf got a vr6 gti with a full exhaust on it this past week and it's all high quality stuff, but it's so freakin loud, especially on the highway, you just hear this raspy humming sound. I already have the trd exhaust and thats loud enough, but we'll see

 

I have HKS HiPower exhaust. and i had the AW before, at 3000+ RPM itll have the rasp if you floor it, but controllable at cruising speed....i have my AW for sale $200 + shipping PM me.

 

I also have the HKS HiPower exhaust. And I'm looking for the AW header. tCing_U, can you describe more about your setup and how much power did you gain before going turbo? Also, how much for the header shipped?
