Any one still have cel problem with f5 fujita for 07 tc
I have the f5 intake but I am debating on installing it due to reading and searching on SL about getting the cel. Any opinions? should I just install it and see what happens.Thks

intakes shouldn't give u a CEL.
If u have a CEL after installing an intake you should try resetting the ECU again. If CEL continues you may have damaged your MAF sensor. But if that was the case your car would run like ____.

I'm having the same problem...
installed mine, disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, reconnected it and let the car idle for 15 minutes to let the ECU adjust like you're supposed to, 50 miles later, CEL came on - took it up to autozone, threw a P0101 code (if I remember correctly), which was MAF high input error. Had them clear it, but it came back on 50 miles later.
Haven't found a fix for it yet, but I'm looking.
I'll let you know if I find anything.

ive read that the diameter of the pipe on the fujita is a little too big for our MAFs to properly read airflow, and because 07+ MAFs are different(more accurate perhaps) this causes the CEL.
also the reason why injen has a reduced diameter where the MAF sensor is!

i finally had the time to take off the stock intake and compare it to the fujita intake and i noticed that the maf sensor sits slightly higher on the fujita intake. but the piping size on the stock and fujita are the same size at the location of the maf sensor. so i decided to grind down about 1 millimeter on the fujita's maf sensor area and now im having no trouble with the intake.

i just bought the Tenzo R CAI for 07 and im having the same problem i had an injen intake and had no problem dont ask why i took it off. In a similar topic someone said they had a small hole or gap at the TB to intake coupler. they said that fixed their problem but i dont think thats the case for all. My car throws cel at 60miles and just the last one at 144.4miles i had they fujita awile back as well and also had this same issue i just gave up on that one and sold it. im gonna give your idea a try JAYLOUIE, that seems like the most reasonable solution. On the Tenzo R the maf sits atop two posts that screw into the actual intake then you screw the Maf sensor screws on to those. i just looked at my sensor and it seems like it can go down a bit more even though it does look like its air tight.
