Default Any recommendation for custom shortblock/fullblock

Any shops for sale or what?

ptuning?

or build or own?

also which connecting rods do u guys recommended for street type useage, daily drivening for 500whp+
1.Brian Crower BC625+
2. Carrillo H-Beam Connecting Rods-2AZFE (218 WMC Rod Bolt)
3. Carrillo H-Beam Connecting Rods-2AZFE (318 Carrillo Rod Bolt)
4. Carrillo Pro A-Beam Connecting Rods
5. Manley Turbo Tuff Connecting Rods
any others? i do not know but are recommended



Which type of crankshaft should i get?
1. Brian Crower N/A Stage 2 Camshaft-2AZFE
2. Brian Crower Turbo Stage 2 Camshaft-2AZFE
3. Brian Crower N/A Stage 3 Camshaft-2AZFE
any others? i do not know but are recommended


looking 2 rebuild engine for turbo step up

as far as companies with built short blocks for sale theres ERL, Ptuning and Dezod has one coming soon. Theres another one i cant remember right now. no sure witch rods are the best but you would need the BC turbo camshaft cause the other two are for naturaly aspirated cars.

just like dave said cams need to be stage 2 turbo.

and as far as rods which company you want to go with is up to you and it depends on your power goal.

In my ERL built short block i have K-1 H-beam rods. ( K-1 is a Carillo company)
