any way to make the clutch easier to push?

Currently mine is HEAVY. I just want mine to be as light as a cobalt. Would I have to change any hydraulics or do a twin disc?

criminaltc 03-19-2014 04:43 PM

Twin Disc? Lighter? You're f.ckin high. That's like kicking a building over. And get off the cobalt thing dude, this isn't a cobalt. You need that strong pressure plate clamping pressure with being boost'd like you, otherwise you can kiss your clutch good bye.

Well, does a 05 TC have a hydraulic clutch pedal?

criminaltc 03-19-2014 06:52 PM

Yeah.

Basebllstar 03-19-2014 08:42 PM

I lol'd at the building thing. Haha.

I'd hit the gym.

Also, just looking at a few of your posts, do you even want a tC? You seem to dwell on what the tC doesn't do. maybe you should go buy a Cobalt.

criminaltc 03-20-2014 11:52 PM

Exactly

sometimes i wonder ..when people buy there parts..not knowing the clamping force ....you want power, well need something to hold that power...

ESEMRFOZZ13 03-23-2014 09:55 PM

Try changing the clutch cable (WINK,WINK), or hit some squats.

Talkshow 03-31-2014 04:47 PM

Try the TRD clutch, that's a leg press compared to the stocker... worst clutch I've ever felt was a Stag 2 clutch in a '98 cobra, that really was like kicking a brick wall... gym is your best bet

burgandybomber 03-31-2014 05:56 PM

Left leg mod.

DaWiz711 03-31-2014 07:06 PM

Start driving heavy equipment, after that your clutch will feel like a light switch haha

criminaltc 04-01-2014 04:08 PM

Haha my thought exactly....

What ever happened to our boy Firedog? He said he was buying an STi and then never logged back in??

JustInParadise21 04-01-2014 05:44 PM

damn i thought the stock clutch was light lol, but anyways what do u guys recommend cuz i need a new clutch but i want something a little heavier but also good for daily driving, i mainly drive highway about 100 miles/day. i have a few mods, dc header, injen sri, and hks axle-back exhaust

criminaltc 04-01-2014 06:14 PM

Get a stage 1 or something. That will be plenty and have plenty of hold to transfer that extra power to the ground. Should be a nice upgrade for you.

Yup, my buddy had to have his serviced.

Also Stage 1 or 2 would be good for Justin
