Any word on Draxas exhaust
Has anyone heard from Draxas exhaust did they update there video clip yet. I just spoke to thermal r&d and there developing a catback for the TC and said around 600.00 it should come out within the next few months.
Dude it's like half a page down, they've been shipping for about 2 weeks.

i had the absolute worst experience trying to deal with draxas-i ordered and paid for the exhaust from their site-on the site it said that the first 10 people would get it for $500. the site didn't say anything about only shipping when all 10 people paid for it already. then i tried to buy the thing at the original $600 so i could get it. they told me yes, then i never spoke to them again. they stopped returning my e-mails, wouldn't call me back, didn't answer my pm's or anything else. i ended up calling the credit card company to make sure that they didn't allow a charge from them to go thru. i wouldn't ever buy anything from them-ever. worst company in the world to deal with. absolutely atrocious.

Hmmm... seeing as how they aren't even available on the boards to say anything about this it doesn't look very good for them. I can't stand when a company has an Internet presence and does disappearing acts. Not very trustworthy.
and just to prove that i'm not even making this crap up-look at this topic about the draxas exhaust that draxas started end of may-on the second page-u can see-i asked them more than once if i could get my exhaust without the group buy, pay the extra $100, etc etc. notice how even though draxas posted several times afterwards, he refused to answer my questions. then after my last post, draxas let the whole topic die out.

It was a big mistake. YellotOOtr was replied to numerous times. When he was told that he had to wait a few more weeks to receive an exhaust system from us, he chose to purchase a different brand of exhaust system. Our Scion tC exhausts have been shipping now for two weeks with very satisfied customers.

why would i have to wait then, i ask again? on ur site at the time is said $599 and free shipping. it also said first 10 buyers get it for $500. i don't wanna go back and forth. i was telling the truth-i couldn't get anyone to call me back or anything. i did get some responses from u guys-at first, and one of them was an e-mail containing my order info. u didn't answer my posts directed to you, didn't call me back, when i said i wanted to buy the thing at original cost i was told that was ok. then i never heard from anyone again-after repeated emails, phone calls, pm's and then i had to post under that topic from the above link to make sure u would see what i was saying. even then u didn't respond and instead let the whole post die out. there may have been a misunderstanding, it just wasn't on my part.

Well, it's a good step responding to the topic at hand. But, just to touch on your points, you are a paying member of these forums and thus are helping support the Scion community. That's commendable, but at the same time, you're a business trying to see that your best interests are being met as well, so that pretty much puts everyone on an even playing field. As a consumer, I think it's my job to scrutinize, whether there is a real need for it or not.

Most people dont realize that Draxas is a one man operation. On top of that , I also run Redline Track Events, have a family (wife, 16 month old, and another baby on the way), day job, etc. It is a struggle at times, but my personal life has never got in the way of providing the products and the support that I demand of myself to my customers.
In regards to our customers posting on the message boards... As Im sure you realize, even though Scion Life is the largest Scion online community, it still only represents a small fraction of all Scion owners out there. Most of the customers calling us have never even heard of Scion Life. We run into this all the time on the other message boards too, for the Ford Focus and Mazda3. In my home town, 9 times out of 10, when I stop a Scion tC owner and give them a business card, and mention Scion Life, they dont know what it is. One quirk that seems to be consistent from message board community to message board community (no matter if it is Scion, Ford, Mazda, or Toyota), is there are those people who either fail to realize or refuse to admit that there is a world outside of said message board.
In saying that, I also need to state that I see the benefit in being involved with the leading message boards for a given make/model we support. This holds true for Scion, Focus, Mazda3, Mazda6, etc. Draxas wouldnt be here if I didnt feel it was worth our time and money.

why not jus call them. calling and talking direct is teh quickest and easiest way in gettin things solved.

ummm... this thread has remained pretty damned civilized, compared to most other rant threads.
Anyway... no, I had no idea Draxas is a one man show. That makes a world of difference. At least in my opinion, some lag in communications isn't necessarily an act of carelessness... even in larger companies, and maybe more so, communications can fall through and people go unattended.
