They have publicly stated, their wait periods, and can only guesstimate how long something is going to take. They don't build everything in house. When there is a delay somewhere else, there is a delay with ZPI, which there is a delay with the customer. You know this, and you are well aware of the delay, but act shocked and absurd while you are waiting. It's like when I use to work at a restaurant. If someone's food was taking forever, they yeld at you the Server. When you the Server, have to wait for the COOK to actually bring the food to you for you prepare it. But the customer dosen't walk to the kitchen and yell at the cook do they. No, they yell at the Waiter, however, when they walked into the restaurant, they knew there was a 45 min wait to sit down. BUT THEY WAITED ANYWAY! Like I said, you pick and choose your battles. You order from the fastest people in the tC, and you know that because they prove it time and time again.
You seen what they did to my tC, and others. And you know they rep. for the tC community. So, keep in mind, that when you are feed up with waiting, and you cancel your order, and go with your second alternative. And then when someone post a vid/pic/information about a ZPI product that they stuck around to recieve, and how kick a$$ it is, don't start bashing on them because they waited and you didn't.
lets keep this clean...this discussion is about the zpi pulley wait. there is already another thread open about zpi product updates...i will let this go on for people to vent. Its been stated several times that ZPI does not have the best shipping i can personally vouch for that but they are one helluva compoany!

I heard a few things about some turbo kits taking awhile but other then that I thought they were on the ball.
But now I know that's not the case. I would not recommend them to any of my friends because of their "charge em now, ship it whenever" attitude.

That is an incorrect statement. Their attitude is not "charge em now, ship it whenever". If you have a product that sells in bulks, you have to do the best you can. They are not some Multi-billion dollar facility with 30+ employees running around doing one specific task. They all have to wear multiple hats at a time. The stress level of running a business is hardly ever felt by the end customer. To which leads to misconceptions.
The law of Supply and Demand is in effect here, not a mere "attitude" of some money hungry get your stuff when I give it to you type business going on. They work hard, not hardly working. Take a trip to ZPI, it's worth the visit.

How long does it take to write an e-mail and send it to everyone that ordered one? Maybe 15 minutes? Large or small business, it's the right thing to do.

Maybe you should take your concerns up with ZPI. They always take care of their loose ends.
I asked them for some type of date or approxiate date when I'm going to see this pulley.. They could not answer that question.
For all I know I might have to wait 3 months like the other member in this thread.

Yes ZPI is a great company and i stated that and truely belive that. HOWEVER, the only 2 times i ordered something, yes it took FOREVER but the part that upset me is everytime i called they would say, "oh it will go out tomorrow". They never once told me the truth. and I got a different answer just about everytime. Thats what made me mad.
If they were straight up and said " it will ship anywhere from 3days to 4 weeks" then i am aware of the delay up front just like the host says at the restraunt. But when the host says its a 10 min wait and you wait an hour, then your upset and wish you went somewhere else.
All ZPI needs to do is be upfront with thier shipping times. Thats what urks me.

honestly, if you dont like it you should cancel your order and have the funds returned before its too late.
On the other hand, I haven't purcased a ZPI product, nor have I spoken w/ Kenny or anyone else over there, but I've heard and read a million good things about them. I am aware of their shipping issues ... and I haven't been anywhere near as active or participating member of ScionLife as yourself.
Like stated before, check with your cc company, you have a limited time to recieve your refund in the event you will have to wait out this 3-4 month period.
You've waited this long before canceling the product.. Personally, I'd think if you were thsi heated about it, you should have canceeld and ordered elsewhere by now so I'm not sure what your complaint is a month later

In this case, Demand is greater than Supply....what do you want me to say.
I can remember back when Injen first released the SRI/CAI for the tC. I waited 3weeks for it from the time I ordered from NOPI.com. But what did I get. The best Intake made for the tC. And loved every minute of it. Made me glad I waited.
If demand is really SOOO high, then ZPI should take some of those profits and invest in more inventory. This is called good business practice. If you know you have many customers interested in your product, then you stock up on it so you can sell more, your customers can be happy, and bring you more business.
So you can either wait for them to get more in stock, or you can go with the alternative. You can order a pulley from NST... You would have a better pulley, more color options, better fit, better performance, and you would pay a lower price!!! NST always has their items in stock, in fact you can see whether their pulleys are in stock or not, DIRECTLY ON THEIR WEBSITE, before you place your order.

You have facts supporting this Where? Cause I can pull up threads of ZPI's pulley weighing in Lighter, and dyno Proven 11+whp and 18ftlbs fo tQ. Therefore, that's just a matter of opinion, not a fact.

But the laws of supply and demand are not the consumers responsibility. If they order a part FROM ANYWHERE and they pay for it expecting it now, then it should be now. ZPI )or any company) knows when there stock is depleted, so instead of holding peoples money how about you stop sales until the supply is replenished?
Im the type of person who if i order something (or go to a restraunt) and the wait is 5 months (at a restraunt 1 hour) and they tell me at the register (restraunt at the door), I do not mind waiting. Heck I will be pleased to wait because atleast I have the option of going elsewhere.
But if you dont tell me up front that its a wait, thats when I will get upset. Honesty is key. And if you dont have the supplies, dont take my money.
This applies to all business's not just ZPI.

The company they get the pullies from should tell them when they're going to be done, so ZPI can pass that information onto us. If they're unable to do that then they should use a different manufactor. It would make alot of customer's happy.
I hate to hear that about ZPI. I had decided on them because of their rep, plus they're in the neighborhood. But, business is business. So I guess that leaves Perrin since I don't want an over or under driven pully like NST.

And if you go under drive it get's alot more expensive for about the same gains.. Cost of a new belt & other pullies comes to almost triple the price.. I guess you could go without the water pump & alternator pullies but I have a pretty large stereo & xbox hooked up so I think that might give me some alternator problems.
