ok so i have a tanabe concept g axleback... i want a midpipe... ive been looking at megans... anygood? will the new pipes change my sound at all... cuz i like my sound.

 

the megan midpipe is good. it will make your exhaust louder... i dont know if thats what you want though...

 

yes your exhaust will become louder, and no it will sound raspy.

 

any way to keep it the same noize level

 

the tanabe g is a really quiet exhaust. with a megan s pipe it will get a little louder but not a whole lot. When i put mine on with my megan catback the noise level did not change at all. You will get a very very deep and mean toan and will not be dissapointed

 

i'm running the megan s-pipe, midpipe and axle back and definitely recommend it, not loud at all!

 

Tanabe exhaust are very quiet, it will take allot to make them sound raspy or loud.

 

the cat is in the stock exhaust manifold. the s pipe will just flow better.

if you dont replace your header than you will be fine. if you replace it, not a chance

 

pay the smog guy a few extra bucks and he'll pass it for you.

alright im the loser. the discussion was about choosing an exhaust and changing noise level. nothing about cats or s pipes. you randomly said the cat is in the stock exhaust manifold. ????

 

megan is garbage, 2.4 piping and tapers down to 2" near the axle back...waste of money IMO

 

my bad, i read the question too fast and thought you were talkin about a s pipe, but neways. the megan mid pipe sounds good as long as you dont have a header nice deep low tone, i have it on my car. and with your axle back it will sound good.
