anybody waiting for zpi engine mounts (from preorder)?
Anybody besides me waiting for their zpi engine mounts? Shortly it will be going on a year and no product??? how is that? According to ZPI - the mounts are there and being tested (as of 2 months ago) .....yes.... im talking about the ones that were finally shipped and being tested.
ZPI claimed that all their orders have been filled ....how about all the people on preorder for the mounts? I honestly think 10months wait might be long enough.

I just sent out another set of motor mounts for testing last week, hopefully this should be coming to completion soon.
If anyone would like to cancel, we can do that, but the details of the 8/1 deal change for the motor mounts.. we can give you the money back, but we can't give you the mounts if we don't have them.
In all honesty, we could have shipped people motor mounts a long time ago, but they wouldn't have been the quality we expect, and so we've gone back to the table on these a lot.
If anyone would like to cancel, we can do that, but the details of the 8/1 deal change for the motor mounts.. we can give you the money back, but we can't give you the mounts if we don't have them.
In all honesty, we could have shipped people motor mounts a long time ago, but they wouldn't have been the quality we expect, and so we've gone back to the table on these a lot.

awhile ago, there was an e-mail sent out by ZPI to those that pre-ordered the motor mounts stating that if they waited, they'd send it out for the pre-order price. otherwise, it would cost like $300?? for them since it was a complete mount swap, not just inserts. search for the thread and it's all been explained before.
i am one of the few (or the only one?!?!) that pre-ordered and still waiting...

We were not happy with the two sets of mounts that had been sent to us, they did not withstand our testing and therefore we went back to the drawing board. We are now going with a different manufacturer than previously and are very happy with the new developments and we are expecting to have them in hand within the next three weeks.
The motor mounts were not a part of the August 1st deadline due to their development issues and standards not being met. As Sean stated, we could have shipped mounts quiet some time ago, however I'm sure you all would be highly irratated receiving the product we were testing. In an email to all pre-order mm customers we informed you of these new mounts that would be much more than just inserts and would retail for somewhere around $3-400 and that you would still be getting them at the very good rate of $99.
As everyone on SL knows, we will withstand the negative comments regarding shipping delays and timelines to produce a quality product. You guys will all receive a product that is worth both your time and money.
If you do not wish to wait any longer, please call the shop as we will be more than happy to refund your original purchase amount.
