Anyone done the Umnitza Carbon Fiber Intake??

ZPI gained 20whp on their supercahrged tC from removing the bottom half of the stock airbox. I know the didn't reflash. Would the Umnitza show similar gains as this is essentially the same concept? (open element)

Hey has anyone gotten a CEL with the install of the intake. B/c installed mine this weekend and now i have a CEL. any help?

Did you mess with the MAF?

That's the only thing I can think of.

Take it to pep boys and ask them to read the CEL number, they should do it for free.

no i don't think that i did. you have to screw in that one black sensor that is right before the MAF and i guess that had something to do with it?

It's probably your MAF not seated properly.

disconnect negative on the battery, and reset at the dealer.

How would that correct an badly "seated MAF" ?

I'd be wary about killing a CEL without first knowing what it is. Take it to Pep or similar get the reading, find out if it's nothing important before you clear it.

Maybe you're oil pump has stopped working? Who knows? But it's better to find out if it has before you drive on it?


* The oil pump probably hasn't stopped working, it's just a worse case scenario example.
