TWM is by far the best out there hands down... http://twmperformance.com

I've had mine a good year and half and have had no problems what so ever.

I want to recommend TWM but with the stage 2 you may have shifting-into-2nd problems. It's not just me, either - if you look around you'll find more people have that problem. Plus they won't return phone calls about it.

not to hijack at all, but anyone know of a shifter that has a shorter throw but maintains the stock height. In other words looks stock but has a shorter distance to travel when shifting gears.

Email them and they usually send a response in 24 hours. i had an issue with mine, and they shipped another right out.

The shifting into 2nd problem...is that when you are racing?

I haven't had any problems with mine, yet...

The TWM stage 2 is by far the best...if you got the cash. If you don't have the cash, the creative compacts one is just as good and about half the price with just a little more height on it than the TWM and the throw is shorter on the TWM by like 5 or 10%

the b&m is only 1/2 inch lower than stock, you probably wouldn't even notice the half inch.

the Creative Compacts one is by far the best bang for the buck! 70 dollars get's you 30% shorter throws and about a 2inch shorter shifter height. I had the CC shifter one my tC and loved it. I just recently installed a CC shifter in my friends tC and he couldn't be happier. If you don't go with the CC one, for goodness sakes, don't get the TRD one, it's way overpriced!

TRD or B&M...... TRD is much more $$ though.
Aside from the looks, I really dont understand why the TWM is by far the best shifter.
For bang for the buck, CC or B&M. B&M comes with hard bushing/spacers.... not sure if the CC does either.

I have the Creative Compacts shifter and it is amazing. Smooth shifting, only $70 but definitely worth it. It does the same thing as the TWM stage II but is a lot less expensive....i highly recommend it. also, it is very easy to install with the guide on this site.

I went with the TWM for the lifetime warranty on the part, and it had the height I wanted
