Default ANYONE WITH A WEAPON-R TORQUE DAMPER - DID YOU KNOW

The weapon-r torque damper is adjustable! I got mine installed and it seemed too weak so I went online to look for motor mounts which I couldn't find. I did find a company like weapon-r that make a damper kit. It comes with complete instructions unlike weapon-r. The weapon-r kit came with installation instructions but didn't let anyone know that it is adjustable.

So you can adjust how much it holds your engine still right? Downside to that is vibrations right? I'll take some vibrations for a more stable engine and power output any day! Hope to get me one soon.

When they come out of the box they need "adjusted" to fit the bracket. It un-screws to lengthen if you wish to pre-load the engine. I just took mine off. It acts as a tuning fork for drive train/trans noise inside the car. Also got a rattle at low rpms that I could never dial down and one of the bolts sits on the AC line and prob. will rub a hole in it. All in all I think a thrown together product to get mod hungry people to blow $180. Anyway mine will be on Ebay for $140ish very soon.

did you try using dynamat around the strut tower brace to reduce vibration and noise?? I was in the same boat as you but I tried the dynamat and the difference was significant! try it b4 you sell it
