Default Anyone's TRD exhaust turned black or look burned?

I just noticed this yesterday, the tip of my trd exhaust (bottom of the tip) is looking so blackish and so does the inside (which i think it's ok and normal) Plus this morning while i was warming my car in the cold weather, i notice some clear liquid like squirting out (maybe it's fuel or water?) What does it mean??? ANyone has this too? ANy help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Carbon comes out of almost any exhaust and builds up if you don't clean it off.... it's pretty normal.... and condensation builds up and drips out at well at times in exhaust pipes... you see it especially in the morning....

so do i use soup and water to wash it? But just the outisde of the tip and not the inside right? (wouldn't want the soup water to get in the muffler)

You will always be collecting the carbon deposits on your muffler, if you really want to keep it clean then grab a rag with the soap and water you use to clean your car and wipe the muffler off. Me i just keep the outside of the muffler clean, ever single time i clean my car i get underneath and clean the shocks, springs and muffler. Just a simple wipe from any rag you should be good to go.

Umm.. dont know, i cant see while i'm revving but i'm pretty certain it's from the trd exaust chamber area or somewhere from the back. LIke i said, as the roar dies down, i can hear a few noises, and yea, i'm goin to the dealer this sunday and do my oil change at the same time

I also have some sort of rattling now from the hatch now, wuts up with that?? I just had the dealer fixed the moonroof rattling which they claimed it's fromthe moonroof and not the sun roof. Sigh.

Is it ok to use a wire brush to get the carbonization off?

A wire brush will scratch the stainless. Use windex and a rag or some Mothers metal polish if the windex doesnt work.

I was thinking it was mini backfiring from extra fuel in the exhaust.... it only happens when I let off the throttle quick from higher RPMS.

Brasso, Mother's, Simichrome all work well on stainless...
