Default A'PEXi Grounding Kit

hah.... i realized whats my problem....

2 days after when i bought the car i stopped somewhere and i could not start the engine.

i tried to turn the key in the ignitation but the power went out!

we push started it... but its stopped after a few seconds!
than we jump started it... it was good only for a few seconds than the car just stopped.

the dealer at the scion said i have to change the battery... we did it.. nothing changed... than they said my alternotor is not charging... lol what a bull____.. tha car should be fine with a new battery.. at least for a few days.......

so we took it back to the toyota maroone.. they just tighted the cables on the battery and it was good!!!!!!!

but now its happened again. the cables are tight.. but i realized if i touch the apexi grounding kit the power comes back.
i had to try a few times to start the engine because the power is always went out.. but after a few try i could start the engine.
so the problem is the apexi grounding kit!

im gona take the car to the maroone on mondey.. if they can fix it its okay.. but if not.. im gona ask them to take it out..

oh and by the way.. my lights (inside and the headlight) are flashing, vibrating when the engine is idle...

and i bought the car with the grounding kit....

thast why you never buy a "modded" used car.

you never know how much intelligence the guy had before you, and you dont know if he put the parts in correct or just ghetto rigged it.

good luck.. also, was the car bought from the dealer?

..... wtf.....

some dork must've not known what the hell he was doing to that car for a grounding kit to mess it up... i say remove it.. and have someone that knows what the hell he's doing to put it in.

probably why that dork sold it.
not a smart purchase. go back and kill the person that sold it to you.

if he hooked up that grounding kit like i think he did for the problem to come up... be happy that your tC didn't burst into flames. and then still continue to pummell the person that sold it to you or the original owner.. if it's not the same guy.

btw.. you got screwed.

yeah, grounding kits are nothing more than some wires.

a ratchet and a few sockets will fix r up real quick.

mmmm yea, i would take off the grounding kit, and disconnect that big black cable where ever that thing is connected to. if u can take it out, unless u want to go BOOM BOOM LOL anyways, if u take it to the dealer and still the same after taking everything off, u got a lemon dude............lets hope not

Yea guys I got a question too. I don't have my tC... yet but I need to know what size battery one has in it. Cause I'm wantin to put an Optima Blue Top in it when I get it for my subs and to match the color scheme. Right now I drive a '03 GA and if the batteries are the same size I'll go ahead and get the blue top an put it in the tC when I get it. But if not then I'll buy a yellow top and sell it to someone with a GA and get a blue top for the tC.

Thanx,
Thomas

bad news:

today my car stopped like 2 times! only when i stopped at lights.. so the engine went down below 600 rpm and then stopped..
And my front ligts went out... only the yellow (high beam?) and the 6 blue leds are working.....
and the passanger window doesnt work...
today im gona take it back.. im gone tell them to take that out.. and check the car.. (ecu and everything)

if the car will be the same w/o the grounding kit im gona tell them to give me a new TC......

it may just be the pic..

but you dont have a vaccum line goin from the head to hte intake.. it looks like you only have a breather on one end.. you should prolly either put hose, or a breather on the intake.. im sure its not good to run an open hole in your intake

... ..... omg.. it's a mess in there.... there's 3 K&N decals everywhere.... and yes.. you have a "hole" in your intake with a breather filter that should NOT be there!

and yes.. the grounding wires are horrible...

yeah... you got screwed over... the guy had owned it before sold you his problems... which looks like he did himself.

remove the breather filter. that's probably another issue.
