Does anyone have the auto tC with the TRD exhaust? What do u think?

 

The TRD exhaust is alright, but IMO a little pricey for the gains and potiental gains. The way its made to me is nasty. If your looking for an exhaust for the Tc, go with the HKS hi-flow. Made great, quality great and a name you can trust. That or going with a custom cat back would be the two id think about. Good luck!

 

I've had the exhaust on mine for about a month. Like the sound alot, not any real change in performance.

 

Mine came with TRD exhaust so I dont know what it souds like without it.
It sounds good, but i agree with it being kinda expensive.

I really like my TRD exhaust I think that it sounds great not to loud but not quiet either. No problem with the cops either.

 

I got the TRD exhaust with the car, but doesn't feel like any real power gain compared to my friends stock TC. It does perfrom better the the custom 2.5" cat back system I had on the 93 Probe GT. It has less noise overall. I don't feel that I hit the power curve as bad, like the car ran out of power as quick than the probe would at 80+ and that was with a intake with I don't have on the TC yet.

 

I just installed the TRD exhaust on my auto tC. Looks fantastic under the car, easy to install (10 min), clean, deep sound. As far as added performance, there is a difference compared to the clunker that it came with, but I have an automatic, not to mention a heavy 160 hp car, some I wasn't expecting much from just an exhaust. However, to me the price was worth it for the quality of the product. Peace!
