Default auto w/ intake, headers, exhaust = ??HP

ok, so i have the auto tC[no flaming please]
Im guessing with 19% drivetrain lose i am pushing around 120 WHP?
Im looking at the Weapon R CAI, Alphaworks header, and HKS exhaust, will that add anywhere near 140whp? if not please correct me. My friend has a Nissan Sentra Spec V [auto] with true dual exhaust, and im going to see if there is anything i can do to beat him[straight line drag]. I'm not looking to turn this into a tC vs Sentra thread, i just want to know if you think those bolt ons will inch my car ahead of his.
thank you.

Don't worry, I have an auto also and have a similar set up to what you're describing. I'm having my car dyno'ed in a few weeks so I'll post some numbers after doing so.

19% is 129.6 fyi, not to be a math ****. So you'll be at just under 150 with the mods.

I dynoed 133hp and 137tq just with the injen axleback. With the alphawerks headers WR Intake it should dyno at around 155hp and 160tq. I have a 4sp auto. Now if only those darn things didnt mess with your powertrain warranty.

20whp? I wouldn't count on it with just these 3 mods. If you end up with 12-15whp, consider yourself lucky. The full Alphawerks setup (intake, TB, header and full exhaust) only added 24whp and 19tq.

A common misconception:

Intake - 6whp
Exhaust - 8whp
Header - 8whp
--------------
Total = 22whp WRONG!

The WeaponR dyno'd at 6whp, the Alpawerks header's dyno is unknown and the HKS is just an axleback so don't expect alot of gains here. Maybe, just maybe, you'll get 12whp.

Stock, your car should be dynoing close to a bit over 130whp as is.

well, if i was to swap to a larger S pipe, do you think that would help me get closer to 20whp?

if your friend is telling you he has an automatic spec V, he is looking for an easy kill. spec V's come in the 6 spd variety only. maybe you mean se-r?

Im sure thats what he means. If that is the case the tc should beat it slightly. The SE-R automatic does 0-60 8.5 and quarter mile in 16.5 . Not bad for an auto but the tc does better.

i have an AT too! :D my advise dont even bother w/ power mods. It will little good for preformance wise. Spend you money on other areas of your car or get a PSP! If u really want to be faster just wait for the TRD SC. I sure u will beat ur friend then!

ok but i want to get these things done either way. Eventually i do plan to get a valve job on the tranny, strengthen the internals, and change the shift points on the tranny, so it wont be at such a disadvantage against cars with MT's

lol :D he he yeah get a psp. The tc does 0-60 in 8.2 secs auto. Im just focusing on exhaust mods my plan is to supercharge as well. If you have a better exhaust setup your SC will yield better numbers .

AT has nothing to do with getting power mods or not, you just may have to spend a little more cash to get similar results. Investing in different gears maybe even a different final drive gear, higher stall torque converter and LSD could make the AT quite a performer (with the right engine mods of course). And it really depends of the type of racing (if any) you are doing, in drag racing the AT rules, in autoX the MT rules. With a little tranny work, the AT could be faster than the MT, all depends how much money you plan on spending.

With the exhaust, on top of the HKS axle-back, get a new s-pipe, high-flow cat (or none at all) and a new mid-pipe. Then you with probably be over 20whp. Happy shopping.
