Default Automatic looking for some HP

So i have some basic exterior mods and i am happy with them for now, and now i am heading for the performance round.. i want to increase my HP to around 200, but i dont want to TURBO, what are some parts and how muchw ill they raise?

im thinking about Injen CAI first..then idk headers?

i do not want a new exhaust bc i herd it voids my warranty w/ toyota

you will not get to 200 hp with a CAI and a header. to get near 200 hp and not void the warranty you will need to add a TRD supercharger and an "automatic fit kit" for an additional $45 to $52.

CAI and header are lucky to get this "beast" to 165 hp.

With my mods Id say im about 180crank. The terrible thing with these autos is they dont make much wheel horsepower. Im making a sad 140 to the wheels with all my crap. Its still fun to mod but you have a long long ways to go to get what you want. My next mods are a full exhaust and a super duper good tune. Hopefully I'll get 160 to the wheels.

^^ u got a dyno? if u want to get up to 200whp without warranty, u'll need s/c along with i/h/e. if you are worried about warranty, header would "void" warranty just as an exhaust would. doesnt necessarily mean you dont have a warranty. if they can prove/blame a problem on the aftermarket part, then it wont be covered.

I dynoed it twice. Cant say its 100% accurate but I ran the dyno on two different days and in two different conditions. 1st run was in 90+ degree weather during the day. Pulled 140.9whp, tq i believe was 144 or something like that. Few days later I ran the dyno again in like 40 degree weather. Surprisingly I only pulled 134.6 but the dyno was at a car show my club sponsored and it had been used a lot and was having some problems before my run. I really have 100% faith in my car so I dont care about my warranty anymore. Im gonn drive this car til the freakin wheels pop off!

Oh and a stock auto tc dynoed 122whp right before I dynoed mine for the first time. Id say I got a nice gain out of my 3 power mods.

yea... check out racingsolution.com... the stage 0 one works for both sticks and AUTO's... i think it makes 230whp? its $2,800... i would stick with the s/c, even given it bein much slower than the turbo partly b/c warranty and liability n wut not... but if you dont mind .....one way you can get free hp is by taking any excess lbs off your car.. u kno wut they say... 10lbs=1hp =P lol

This will give you AN IDEA: (please, is only an example of my research, numbers could be higher or lower))

Stock tC Auto 124whp

Weapon R Intake --- 8whp
Greddy SP2 Exhaust -- 6whp
MMW Header -- 15 whp
ZPI Pulley -- 6 whp
Iridum spark plugs & Nology hotwires-- 3whp
Custom mid pipe (or wait for ZPI's) -- 3 whp
ZPI Header Package -- 21 whp
ZPI 11.1 Pistons -- 10 whp
Alphawerks Throttle Body -- 2whp
* You can install an E-management to increase and control this power.

Aprox 198+hp at the wheels (number can vary)
and hp at the cank is going to be higher. Also, less weight=more power.

^^^^that is only if you want to stay NA, (too much money)
you could get more whp with a Turbo or Supercharger

Going n/a on an auto in this case is so not worth it. You'll need FI to make our autos fast. By the way metalranger33 if you wanna go lets go! Ive done it before and I'll do it again... beat a 5spd!

n/a is naturally aspirated which is yeh no turbo/supercharger which is f/i (forced induction). f/i is a much cheaper way to get power than n/a is.

if you want to know about turbo's than you should start reading the f/i tread's this is the n/a tread but i think that when some one start's making more mod's like cam's intake manifold and lighter valve train part's 200 with an auto should be no prob.
