eh I have the MMW piece. Included a down-pipe that bolted up to the stock cat without a hitch. The only install problem I had was self-inflicted in the form of cross-threading one of the spring bolts.

I still don't know if it was worth the money, but it looks good. I had mine thermal coated in a jet black color and it looked good too ;p

Because it's hard to justify spending $595 after shipping for a setup that could've been done by buying them seperate from different companies for ~150-200 cheaper.

Convenience usually comes with a price. I won't know for a while if convenience was worth the extra dollars.

Don't the headers make you loose the midrange power, and gain power on high RPM.

Well the MMW header comes with a Anti-Fouler in the S-Pipe.

I just want to know which one you guys think is going to be the better product/bang for the buck, price aside. It's not the price that matters to me, just what im getting and the quality/craftsmanship.

MMW
Pro - Only 4-2-1 header out, Nice design, Includes S-pipe
Cons - Cost, quality control, still has chance of a CEL

Alpha
Pro - highest power gain of the 4-1 headers, good quality and fitment
Con - Does not include S-pipe

The s-pipe thing though can be good or bad depending on if you want to buy a certain companies like Draxas or CC

Ive also been thinking about getting a header and due to MMW appearing to have hit or miss with quality, I would get the Alpha header

So some people have still thrown CEL with the MMW header? Which one is going to be less prone to a CEL?

you will get a CEL with ANY header because it remove the main cat.. however it can easily be fixed by moving the o2 sensor further down, and/or a anti-fouler.

and OBX also has a 4-2-1 header.. looks just like hte MMW, i saw it on ebay a couple days ago

^ what i never heard of OBX making a 4-2-1 header for us...think you can find the link ? ive seen one ebay post about an OBX header but its a 4-1.
(Note looking at the pictures is the best way to tell, becuase some sites list the DC header as a 4-2-1 when it is actually a 4-1)

Which the MMW header comes with. It has a little L shaped tube in the S-Pipe that relocates the O2 sensor so that it's further away from the exhaust.

^^The header makes that much in combination with an intake and exhaust not by itself. Just a side note

Well based on what ive seen when you add an S-pipe to the Alpha (becuase the MMW has an S-pipe with it) they make about the same power. The difference is when the power hits. High end for Alpha, more spread out for MMW
