Default axleback and catback

what are the differences between an axleback and a catback exhaust? which provides more hp gains and better sound? im really clueless about the axelback and the cat back.. its confusing the heck out of me.. im new to cars.. sorry

dude, you should search...

but ill help you out anyways:

AXLE BACK: this is basically just a muffler.. with piping leading from the rear axle to the tip of the bumper

CAT BACK: this is from your CATALYTIC converter back, however most delete your cat... so what it means is that, basically after your headers, you have about a three foot pipe, and after that, the cat back starts.

i would suggest a cat back only because it will make more power, sound nicer, and is simply an axle back is not really worth it.

and a cat back will be louder if it does not contain any resonators such as the ZPI..
