Axxtion STS SoCal Test Fit for FREE
I just finished machining a couple of Short Throw Shifter's for the TC. These fit under the hood, so they do not change any hardware in the console. They are a true 54% reduction. Installs in 15 minute if you have to remove and reinstall the stock air box which is located above the lever extending out of your transmission. Install time is less if you have a cold air intake. They are made of 7075-T6 aluminum which, pound per pound, is stronger than steel. I'm located near Disneyland, SoCal. If one of you guys is local and want an STS for free for test fitting, hit me up.

Wait in the engine bay? Hows that work?
|
Yeah weird.. Wasn't it always just working straight from the shift boot?
|
It is probably like the nst ones for the xd, they some how change it from the engine bay
|
the shifter is changed from the inside...
the only thing that would be changed under the engine bay is the shifter cable bushings. |

These fit under the hood, so they do not change any hardware in the console. They are a true 54% reduction. The new Axxtion STS for the TC is similar to what I build for the Altima SER shown above. The red anodized part in the center of the picture is what makes this a Short Throw Shifter, not a shortened shifter lever. Because of this design, you can get a much shorter throw than you would by altering the shift lever in the console. Plus, install is like 15 minutes. |
im up for it but when?

ill be driving down tomorrow steve.. see you then

Axxtion STS.............................................10" x 54% reduction = 4.6" Your current STS......................................10" x 30% reduction = 7" Your current STS and TRD xB Gen2 STS.........7" x 30% reduction = 4.9" Your current STS and Axxtion STS................7" x 54% reduction = 3.2" Length of Throw ÷ 2 = Force To Push Lever x 2 axxtion@hotmail.com |
I might have to get one when you release them. I have a 50% reduction shifter now with the 54% that would put me down to 2.3" which would be awesome on the track
|
they're ready to ship.
email me at axxtion@hotmail.com thanx Shortest throw and lowest price of any production short throw shifter made in USA |
how much are they?
|
how much for the xb2 30% STS and the tC 54% STS?
does this make the shifting action feel more notchier (greater resistance going in/out of gears, which I notice with console shifters)? |
