Best Headers?
Ive been looking at all the different types of headers for the tC and im not sure exactly which one is best so please help answer a few of my questions.
1) Which brand of headers have the biggest increase in horsepower?
2) Which brand of headers are the loudest?
3) If you could choose which brand would you pick?

Just a quick thing that is a pet peeve of some people... with the tC, it's just "header" ... since there's only one.
As for your questions... I don't think there have been any definitive tests yet to compare gains. Alphawerks is popular and many people like the output of the Monster Motorworks (claimed 26hp) - but the MMW comes with it's own S-Pipe as well and is more expensive.
Loudest? Um... they're all going to be a bit louder and have some rasp - depending on your exhaust setup.
If I had the money, I'd go with MMW and a custom exhaust. But I don't.

the reason they go with it is because of the price. when the alphawerks came out at first it cost almost 400 now you can get for about 280. also dc sports was one of the first headers that came out for the tc. I don't know when MMW and Alphawerks came out with theirs, but i don't think it was over a yr ago.
i went with megan but from what i've heard of the rasp once i switch my exhaust, it is going to be very raspy. even though they all get loud some handle the rasp better than others. you search into that as well, if you are planning to upgrade your exhaust system too.
