I want to get a second resonator for my draxas exhaust - any feedback on whats the best resonator and where to get it?

This thread caught my eye because I have the Draxas exhaust as well. Why do you need a second resonator? I've actually considered taking mine out completely..

 

I wonder if you could run two of these in a row instead of a full size muffler. Does any one think it will be to loud or produce to much rasp if any at all?

 

I think it might but I really need to know if this will fit my exhaust. I need to get this done. I dont dislike my setup but before my header it was a nicer note. I want to get that sound back that I had. Anybody w/ any comments?

 

if you want the sound that you had before, remove the header.. adding resonation will just reduce sound volume and rasp. there's a distinct sound that the header makes, and it will always be there.

 

the volume and rasp is what im interested in.

 

so nobody knows if this will fit the draxas exhaust or if there is a better choice for me to picK? i want to get a resonator asap.

 

well - I had some time today and im very very happy that I did. I finally went to an exhaust shop to get a quote on the resonator. They put my car up on the lift and found out - first - there were 2 small leaks in my exhaust. 2 darn leaks. Secondly - because of ground clearance I didnt want it mounted toward the back of the car because I dont want to slam the resonator if i hit something.

What I had done:
I had a 12inch resonator installed, 2 new gaskets w/ sealer, and ended up with A LOT quieter car. I really was leary about how much a 12inch resonator could do - well I now have my answer. The car rides even nicer now, shifts nicer, behaves nicer, and sounds nicer. Just wanted to give you guys the 411.

Total cost I think was aroun $155.00 - If I didnt have the leaks it would have been more like $130ish.
