Did ya try disconnect the battery and reconnect it again to reset the ECU? This might help.... I will get it and give it a try but not right this minute.

I was talking with Kevin also about doing this, just couldnt get my hands on a TB. It may be something that you would need a managment system for. Never really worked with this type of mod myself, but i am sure some of the guys here have. ill talk with them and see if they have any suggestions

i talked to one of my guys who has done a few TB swaps and he said the car should not be shutting off just because its a different TB. There has to be a air leak, pinch wire, bad throttle position sensor, or something along those lines causing the car to shut done. Check all hoses wire and such to make sure everything is in correctly and not damaged. If anything if you want to send the stuff to me ill test it out and see if we cant get it to work and send it back either way. Let me know

I wouldn't mind getting the stuff and I'll work on it. I don't want anything used so I'm going to see how much is the new kit from whoever's website that sells rx-8 TB kit for tC.

They will only sell it locally in Cali and they will do the installation. As I was told thru e-mail.
