No and No...^^^^^^^

No in line valve and nope, not carb legal. The only badge on the intake is the INGEN logo badge.

well, If you are talking about the k&n, then you are right, it loses power in the lower rpm range up to about 3k. but it makes up for it in the top end. So if you havnt been pushing your car, the lack of power makes perfect sense.

I did mine a couple of days ago, but you beat me to the pics, here are mine, these were before I did the cold air intake which I have now, sounds great and has nice noticable gains.

In the immortal word of Keanu Reevs...Whoa.

Lookiin' good. But I like the polished better. It "pops" out more from the dark engine bay.

I got mine here:
http://sciongarage.com/home.php?cat=3

I would do a yahoo search cause I remember seeing it cheaper somewhere else, I just don't remember where thou. I got it along with the Weapon R engine damper, so shipping was free. I decided to get the three day delivery, but it cost me $20.

The intake comes with an install guide but if you still need one try searching for the k&n instructions, they are the same.

which is better, the injen in CA or SR mode? i hear that SR gives a better sound whereas CA makes u lose power in the lower rpms

It is all a personal preference. My preference is in CA form. I am never in low RPM's so I never feel any losses (not saying that there really is any noticable losses, i think that it just may be that you dont feel as much of a gain as in higher RPM's). It is really all a personal preference but if you are going to buy a CAI and spend the extra money you might as well run it as a CAI, otherwise I would recommend going with the WR Secret Intake, less $$$. And as far as the sound, I love the way my CAI sounds, nice, deep and throaty.
