Got some pictures finally, very easy install. Last pic came out werid looking. Dunno why.

 

Looks nice...Where'd you buy from? Any fitment issues (i.e., rubbing the fender/hood?)

 

if you notice rubbing which i did cover up that fender lip with some rubber or something to protect the filter. the filter from my intake rubbed enough to make a small hole in it.
i am selling the injen intake soon of course it will be without the filter. good luck. i liked it while i had it.

 

I got it from american showstoppers i think.. Something along the lines of that. 219 shipped.

 

Is that a big scrape on the side of the intake??

are you having problems with the filter rubbing? i just bought an injen replacement filter. the only thing different is that the diameter at the end of the filter is 4"round instead of 5". it seems to be working well so far and there is sufficient room, i dont think the filter will rub at all now.

 

i put the injen sticker ont underside of the hood.

my SR is also rubbing. Im changing it to CAI soon as I previously planned to but working on you car out with temp. in the 40s with a t-shirt its harder than one would think. But its rubbing enough to dent the filter in.

 

i have had absolutely no problems with using the smaller injen filter. one of these days i would like to get a dyno done. it does not seem like there is a difference and with the smaller filter there is absolutely no rubbing.

 

I installed it as CAI this morning. Took about an hour. I actually liked it better SR, it was alot louder on the inside.. But I dunno we'll see.

 

Short ram is always louder then CAI. And that looks very clean I like it a lot.

 

I just installed my SRI yesterday.

LOUD, thats for damn sure.

I'm going to switch it up to CAI probably this week.

 

Looks really nice the combination of Injen short ram and AW header is good for 14hp on a 4sp by the way. CAI will yield better numbers though .. Bad ___ keep modding.

 

Well I installed it back as SR today, I missed the sound.

 

Ah man. You were better off running CAI. Better HP gains with the CAI setup.

 

Yea but my rode floods ALOT also.. its just safer as SR too.

 

I noticed better performance after switching to CAI mode. The car just felt better at all RPM levels and wasnt so ridiculously loud as SRI mode.
