Bolt Type
Hello,
This maybe in the wrong section so move it at will, but its concerning something attached to the block, and I figured you guys have taken your cars apart to maybe help me out.
I am rewiring all of the stock wiring, and I can't seem to find any info on the screw that attaches the wire from the battery negative to the block. It has a smaller thread at the bottom of the bolt, but closer to the top, the bolt gets bigger.
Any info on what type of bolt this is and where I can find it? Lowes doesn't seem to have it...nor autozone, I think I might just get a bolt with the smaller thread all the way through, but I figured if I could find the exact screw, it would just be easier!
Thanks!

Some of those bolts are going to be dealer only due to how they are constructed. You may want to call local dealer or Sparks Toyota their website has their phone number www.trdsparks.com and see if they have it.

no need for taper bolt , the only reason they made it taper from a 10mm to at 12mm is for proper seating, remember its holding your main ground , if not properly seated will cause major problems... if you just use a 12mm bolt with out cross threading you'll be ok
