Default Bosch 110s; im a believer

ok i will be the first to admit that when people started talking about how the bosch 110sport made such a difference and blah blah balh i was like ok its in their heads, whatever

ok after saying that i got and all i gotta say is DAMN. this is the one part that is needed to make the s/c beast come alive. Took about 10mins to install in the rain in my driveway with just a flashlight.

So i take my car for a spin, literally, around the block. I cant get on it too much cause its wet as hell and i still have bald stock tires, heres to give you an idea of the improvement. on my way home from work in the rain i would of course loose traction in first, lose traction in 2nd without trying, then get traction in third and bog down, well i made it half way down my street spinning all the way thorugh 3rd and was still going about 60-65 in a matter of 10 houses or so, man i cant wait for dry roads and better tires.

Anyway if there are any otehr skeptics out there, DONT BE, this is a great addition to the overall driveability of the s/c tC without getting too crazy in the pocketbook or motor setup.

oh BTW if anyone wants to order from a dealer the bosch 110 comes stock on a SAAB 9000T and the saab(not bosch) part number is 4441895, i called my local saab dealership and they had it in stock so i was able to get it the same day

HTH

thanks for reading

How much did ya pay if ya do not mind me asking. I bought mine from joe hoppin motorsports and it will be in tommorow I paid $55 + $6 shipping.

As for the facts about the stock bypass, yes it is a nasty worthless peice of turd. When cold mine makes a honking noise when it is trying to seal around 3K rpm and is leaking boost until close to 6K when it finally sorta seals. Very very annoying. Cannot wait to pop mine in hehehehe

Only prob with joe hopping is the dorks ship only ups and it has taken the full 7 days to get to me. They could have used priority mail with delivery confirmation, saved a few bucks and got it to me in 1/2 the time.

yes it pulls harder and i couldnt even get on it

i got it from the local saab dealer for 62 plus a few bucks for tax, a little more but like i said, i walked out with it in my hand today, so either way its a great deal and i think this should have come standard on the kit, the stock bypass valve is the only thing TRD went cheap on but hey, gotta leave room for improvement somewhere

i was a skeptic, but then again i wont say anything til i feel it to believe.

either way any upgrade from lower quality parts should make a difference.

I am thinking about changing mine to something else later.

Ok guys this is great news. I really wanted to wait to see what ZPI was offering (they said they are working on rigging a BOV to the supercharger), but if this is a more functional option, I would go with it. Now where exactly is the stock bpv located? Can someone write up a quick DIY on how to replace this? I have a Saab dealership near my job, so I was thinking about stopping by after work and slapping one of these bad boys on.
Thanks.

the stock bpv is connected to the intake piping.. follow the piping back towards the firewall and you will see it sprouting off the intake hose.

Can someone take a video of the car w/ the bov? I want to hear what it sounds like because I honestly dont know what a supercharger bov sounds like. I know "too well" what a turbo bov sounds like because everybody has them for turbos but I dont know about the s/c.
