Its mounted on the back of the firewall and is the only hose attached to the brake booster. The other end goes to the side of the intake manifold wich you cant see from the top of the car.

Cant get much easier than this.

You can tap it to either of them. They both are vacuum sources that will work for you. Most people just tap it from the TB cause its easier to reach but if you wanna tap it from the brake booster go ahead.

I actually took out the metal tube piece and and ran the the brake booster line through the two side ports of the Vac Block. I think you can get a pretty clean install this way because you can take one the 10mm nuts that hold the metal tube in place and use it to mount the block on one of the studs on the upper part of the firewall. I hope you can see what I'm talking about here:

so batman, all you did was that out the metal pipe in between the two ends of the brake booster hose, and contected one end to one side on the vacuum block and the other side of boosted hose to the other side of the vacuum block, if that make sense, did you have to add and extra hose or t-tape any place in particular, sorry if i sound like a noob

I made couplers using brass barbed fittings to go from the 3/8"(?) brake booster hoses to 1/4" vac line. You can see in the pic where the stock line connects to the brass fitting and then runs to the block
