hmm.. brake pads..

i'd say Axxis Ultimates.

but you can also ask our resident brake expert here. ( The_Instigator )

it depends on what you're looking for... if you're going to need it for track purposes and whatnot..

no warranty buddy, sorry. wishful thinking
unless your rotors are at fault, brakes are wear/tear item

if you've got 25k on them, and still feel fine. dont change them yet unless you really want to. they should be inspected when you get your oil change, etc.

Both the Axxis Ultimate and the Deluxe Plus pads are very affordable but I cant comment on pricing as we are not site sponsors. Paul at Dezod might be a good person to check with regarding pad pricing as well as the vivid link provided already.

The Axxis Ultimate have more bite than just about any other street pad out there which provides a better pedal feel and more performance than stock. They also produce more dust than stock which may turn you away form them. The Deluxe Plus have bite levels more similar to stock along with very low dust levels. They are different pads for people looking for different things, but neither will dissapoint when it comes to performance per dollar.

^^there he is

yeah.. my only comment about the Ultimates is pretty much the same.. much more bite, but much more dusty.

that's why 2nd time around i sugessted the Deluxe Plus more. figured it'd be a little more above stock level (bite-wise) and low dust. something that i think you wouldn't be disappointed in.. (and they're cheaper than the Ultimates.. )

I have actually switched to the Hawk Performance Ceramic pads since I wanted less dust than the Ulitmates. They have dust levels similar to the Axxis D+ or Hawk HPS but with only a minor reduction in bite form the Ultimates...but alas Hawk does not supply these pads for the stock tC calipers at his point. Hawk also does not offer any rear tC pad yet, but hopefully the Performance Ceramic will be available soon for the front and rear.

The Hawk pads generally cost more than the Axxis pads (usually 50% or so) but in my opinion the Performance Ceramic compound is one of the best street pads out there right now.

Sorry to temp you guys like that, but if its any consolation, these pads can be used now if you use our big brake kit
