right now i have a HKS hi power and Megan mid +s and alhpawork header. it sounds mean but i do a lot of highway driving and i want less cabin noise and a OEM style exhaust i had the TRD and it sounds really nice outside the car and not to loud inside, how does the Megan OEM style compared to that? i head you tube vids but non from the cabin.

 

from what i remember, the Megan OE-RS and the TRD are pretty comparable in noise level. a buddy of mine has had both and commented that one wasn't any louder than the other.

 

I have a DC header and a Megan OE catback. There is a considerable reduction in drone by going back to the OEM midpipe. You lose the deep growl, but you also lose the rasp from having a header as well as putting a cat back in the line. It's been a long time since I've had the OEM muffler so I'm not really sure about the sound difference there, but the OEM midpipe really makes those long trips more survivable.

u had the setup i had. megan all the way back to the OE-rs. I loved the exhaust when i had it, very quiet alot quieter then the TRD exhaust but when u really open it up it sounds awesome nice rumble. but steady driving u never hear it in teh cabin.

and trd is definatly louder then the oe-rs me and my boy had the same exact setup jus with different axlebacks and his was louder. YOOOO brooo i heard about sum shows soon u gotta come threw. and lets work out a payment plan for that HKS man!! lol
