I want to get a cold air intake..injen..but i know nothing at al about mecanics or putting it in. Can i get it installed by a professional? I just looked under my hood and i was like wow, can t do it. lol
Buy from a tuner shop if there's any around your area. Way back before my mechanical days i remember i bought a CAI from a tuner shop and they only charged an extra $40 to install
it's not hard to figure out, look in the tech section

Im in Gainesvile , FL ... but yeah ill look at instaling it myself but i doubt it wil happen, so ill have to find a shop to do it
if you can unscrew a bolt, you can install it. first basic easy mod...if you're not planning on doing an intake, then i'm assuming you won't be doing any work on your tc. which is fine, but just saying. intake is a good starting place to learn, and plus, you have us to help
its very simple to install. the directions on the k&n one werent bad. just look over them all before starting then take it slow. then go back over it when you are done to make sure everything is tight and in the right spot if you arnt sure. dont forget to check it all again in a few days to make sure its all still tight. good luck with it.
it is not simple to install. The Injen CAI was a pain in the poopshoot to install. It took me (and i'm by no means anywhere near good at this stuff in the first place) close to an hour to intall. When i talked to one of my buddies who works at a shop, he said the same thing and he is a great mechanic. It is hard, but it is definitely do-able. If you're not confident enough, then pay someone to do it, there's no shame in that.
i didnt have a problem with it being hard. i had a problem with some of the things being small and hard to reach. altogether it took me about 45 minutes with most of the time spent on 2 or 3 screws that i just couldnt get to easily.
I don't think I'd say it is "simple" but it's probably a 3 or 4 out of 10 on the PITA to install scale.
As long as you read the instructions and take your time, it's not bad. Who cares if it takes an hour or two hours... just be patient and do it right.

kungpao is right, just because you get intake/headers/exhaust won't yield a ton of power, but it is possible to get upwards of 10whp. mostly, it'll make a buncha noise which we all like! most ppl like their cars to sound like race cars, even if we're still slow. it's just so much fun!
