CAI in Miami. What do u think?
Im thinking about getting an Injen CAI. But the thing is I live in Miami and if u live here or seen the news u can see that it rains alot and floods alot. So my question is do u think i should get the CAI?
get the injen but just convert it as shortram. injen gives u the option to have it as cold air or shortram, so just leave it as shortram to be on the safe side. the gains will be the same, i think they did a dyno on both.
dude.. go ahead and do the CAI. if you have ever seen where the filter is and how high it is from the ground you wouldnt even ask this question. the filter is a good foot above the ground and my car is dropped on TRDs. if you drive through more than a foot of water u shouldnt even be driving a sport compact and modding it. i live in miami and i work in the brickell area.. that place gets flooded b4 any area in miami and after todays massive down pour i took it nice and slow thru the street. no hydro-lock. plus, the filter would have to be completely submerged in water to suck in water. go for CAI. greater power gains. colder air=denser air.
