Default Camcon VVT-i Controler Adjustment

Hey does anyone out there have good settings for the Camcon VVT-i. I have it installed and have made a few adjustments that I think may have helped but I want to see what everyone else has come up with. I know on their website, they have settings but for some reason it will not show me. I have Injen CAI and HKS exhaust with my midpipe resonator removed if that helps. Any help would be much appreciated.

best way to do this is taking your car to a dyno and tuning it

You need to tune that on a dyno.

On their japanese site, they have settings for the 2AZ-FE but for some reason it wont load up. I know I have to dyno it but this thing was $400 so in the meantime I want just a baseline to set it at untill I have the $150 to take it to the dyno.

lucky you will get some decent gains out of it but if you plan on going turbo get something else the camcon is no good for boosted cars other than controlling the A/F Ratios.

Yea, I just do not have the funding for a turbo just yet, it will have to wait untill next year, I just need a little bit of power to hold me over, my buddy in his GSR pulls on me on the freeway and thats not tight with me haha. I will be dyno'ing the car saturday and will have numbers posted. Check back

Do a search on S/L for Camcon and you will find some of the past threads, PLEASE read them. Do NOT use someone else settings as it will not run properly. A good dyno tuning should only run about $150 bucks. You will see gains from 2K to 4.5K rpm of 6 to 7 whp and 4.5K to redline at 14 to 17 whp. I am running a stock air box, with a DC header and DC axle back, that is it pulling 159 whp. Dyno, Dyno, Dyno.

I got mine through a local shop but they have them at tctunerz.com. The shop I went through is World one performance. Check out their site too. Cost is about $400, worth it too.
