okay here's my explanation on the vid.

the vid was a whatevers thing, just cuz none of us were leet at it.

anyways yeah

the car sounds raspy in midrpm range but then pops in the high rpms this is becuas of the DC SPorts header

in neutral it is dead silent, i'm sure you will see and hear that . one of the reasons why i love this exhaust. quiet when you want, loud when you want.

in the scene where we're int he car, sorry camera guy didn't think wind would be a big deal..but yeah theres the whistle. we might consider redoing it better this time.

if you can see on the fast run, i was maybe at 5000 rpm when there is a screech still, thats how much high end power i still have.

if you watch the exhaust revving, it hits redline and it keeps popping.

and oh yeah, ignore my towel next to my injen intake, it hits the car in the chassis =[

well there's that. hope you guys enjoy

hmm dunno what to say about that. it's definitely loud. hopefully adding a resonator and the aftermarket s-pipe will help.

i'm starting to see that tC bolt-ons are pretty damn loud. i don't remember the ZPI boosted tC being that loud haha.

yea im runnung the AEM CAI and and apexi 4 inch custom axle back soon to be a header back with dc headers and mine is also loud!!! but its all good my advise is get the high flow cat because you will be in deep crap if you get caught casue ref does not have the specs for the new cars so you will be stuck with a serious ticket but this is just what i think man but i bet it sound mean as hell!!! lol

If thats true, its laughable. Not even 6.0 Liter turbo diesel trucks with upgraded turbo's use 4" pipes. They use 3". Putting a 4" pipe on a 2.4L is just funny. BTW, we only have one header, its an inline 4.

Oh, havn't heard about 5". I havn't had any personal experience with trucks, I just like watching Trucks on Spike tv, and whenever they swap out exhausts(like on a turbo ford), they put in a 3" kit. I might have seen 4" once, but I think that was on the Bully Dog truck with something like 6 different performance stages.

That gives a reason not to get a header, even if it does give me more HP. I have heard so many negative comments on the sound and this proves it. Car looks good dude, but I can't do the sound, sorry!

i'm debating on a header with creative compacts exhaust. if it sounds good like that i'll be happy.

if not, i'll be supercharged with OEM header

i heard creative compacts and DC exhaust are very good ones, those are the 2 i would rather choose...

yea teak your car does sound raspy... i dont think theres a way to avoid it because its a 4 cylinder... im afraid to get an exhaust because of that sound..

you should get a damper kit!! with all the parts i got, i hit 0-30 in 2.4 sec, stock is about 2.9 sec. thats a huge jump. im very confident on my launching.
