i'm not knocking it trust me i want one too LOL
I saved on the Xb around 8-10lbs, it does make a difference.
I do agree though, the hood of my first car (97 integra) was heavier as well as far as hood weights go. (comparing to Tc)
Any weight reduction is going to make a difference in performance, however you wouldn't tell a drastic difference unless you shed hundreds of pounds. Every pound counts though, plus IMO CF looks good. lol
Taek; id like to hear this new broken in sound. I haven't heard of I/H/E break-in sound any different than just installing. If it really does sound different, than thats interesting.

Silencer will help a little, but not so much on the top end. S pipe will help more than a silencer in the case of I/H/E.
As far as where the raspy sound is coming from, its not just one thing. Its not just the headers or just the exhaust. Its the combination of all 3 parts that make the sound what it is.
Also, as far as being ricey? I don't exactly see how Taeks car is ricey. When washed (
) its a clean looking Tc. It doesn't have a ridiculous wing, or universal body kit. Yeah hes got a few speed stickers, but i've seen much worse. Relax guys, obviously hes proud of the TC and we should give him props on it. The parts he has (HKS, Injen and DC sport) are on the other side of the spectrum as far as being ricey goes.
"Ricey" - Tons of speed stickers, fitment issue body kit never painted to match rest of the car, oversized-pointless wing, painted black hoods to have CF "look", going to Pep boys or autozone for any performance part, stuff like that to me is rice.
So in conclusion, everyone just relax. He loves his Tc, and thats all that matters. It's done with class and not trash.

I consider rice to be a poor, cheap job of modifications. However anyone who puts time into making it look right deserves props for the perseverence to perform quality worksmanship to get their ride the way they want it. It could be all show and no go -- that's fine, because there's a large interest in customizing the look of a ride, and regardless of what people think, usually to get it right, it costs serious $$, especially with a good paint job.
But when there's a less quality job done to mod a car and there's an attitude or elitist mentality without the parts and performance and look to support it, well that's when we get into the realm of bordering on rice. If you know your car is a piece of sh*t but you like the way it is and you enjoy it and are not ashamed of it, then all the power to you ('you' being the market segment of cheap universal parts that don't quite look or fit right on the auto to which they're installed). However once someone adopts the attitude that all this stuff makes their car faster and they gain performance and respect, well then that's just pure rice.
You can buy the parts, but you have to earn the respect. I think it all boils down to attitude.
I had a friend with an older Honda (circa 1990) with a sub, crappy rims, universal muffler that sounded absolutely terrible by any standards, some interior paint work done, and a very very cheap DIY window tint kit, and universal wing...but he loved it and enjoyed driving it because it was his car, and he installed everything and had a great attitude about it. He had fun in the car and didn't think because he had some shiny rims and loud exhaust that it meant he could take on a fully loaded Supra. So it was tolerable and not quite rice in a lot of peoples opinions...although the car may not be for everyone (read: no one should have to drive such a thing) it was still fun to fart around in...pun intended
That having been said, I came across rice on the way to work this morning, on the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90 westbound), a red Honda Prelude with shiny rims and a loud exhaust, big wing and some decals, came up next to me at the toll booth and floored it, and was obviously stock. No way was he turbo'd as one of the decals stated, and he got burned. Bad. Three times. I kept dropping back to let him catch up (he was easily full throttle) and ate him alive once again. :-D
