Default CC short shifter bushings

Hey everyone. i wanted to install my CC short shifter bushing thingys today. It comes with four of them. I just wanted to know how u put them in.

they just replace the stock shifter bushings. i didnt know what they were at first but once i found out it was self explanitory.

13th picture hes pointing at 2 of the bushings

take them out, put the new ones in, wash rinse and repeat

my package came with 4 but i only use 2?

they look exactly the same though...thats right right?
Also, if i just install the 2 under the hood will that still be better, cause i installed my short shifter months ago and i dont feel like disecting it

i think the shortshifter bushings will be easier but sure. do the 2 under the hood.

The shifter cable bushings and the shifter base bushings are both VERY simple to do. Just make sure when doing the base bushings not to drop anything in the holes. You take out the bolt/nut and then remove the stock shifter base bushing. You then take the new ones and put one in on bottom and one on top, then tighten it down with the bolt/nut. You do this 4 times which means you need 8 bushings. 4 on top 4 on bottom. When you get in there, you will understand completely. This is easier than blowing your nose

cc shifter base bushings only have 4. and they are purpleish. im glad they dont show.

4 on the top and 4 on the bottom?

I have the corsport shifter base bushings...I should've mentioned. 4 bushings go underneath the shifter body (1 per corner) and 4 bushings go on top of the shifter body (1 per corner)

alright, i have the creative compacts shifter so i have 4 bushings. the cool purple ones that thank god aren't seen cause i wouldn't want purple on my car.
