the thing about the piping is that it comes with many bends and many collars. No welding. Thers just alot of cutting the pipes to a certain lengths while putting collars between every pipe.

collars? You mean the silicon pieces that connect two pipes with hose clamps?

What piping kits are you talking about?

the simple truth is that turbo kits dont cost alot at all to make, but its OUR fault they do. Since we are willing to pay those high high prices, turbo companies sell them at those high high prices.

with a turbo kit, if everything fits together, works perfectly, and the parts are set up right, it will work! The most important thing is the tuning and fuel management, but with the tC if you run low boost 6psi and under you dont need the fuel managment and therefore dont need a tune. All you have to do its get the parts to work together and have the whole thing regulated and it will work simple as that.

Most people would rather not go through the work of doing this and just pay $$ for a company to think it through for them. Also remember that companies have to pay alot to create a whole kit from scratch, part of this price is passed on to those that buy the kit. People that make their own kits from random parts dont have to pay this cost.

cool. Just wanted to see what you were talking about. I would have considered a turbo, but my thinking went TRD, so I am supercharged...and very happy with it.
