Seminoles, you need to hang out with real *real* car guys ;)
Here are the trouble areas for your DTC (P003
:
- Short in HO2 sensor heater circuit
- HO2 sensor heater
- EFI relay
- ECM
My guess would be is that sensor heater or heater wiring was damaged when you took the sensor out, it's the one on s-pipe, btw. The fix - new sensor, luckily that second one is cheaper than the one on the header.
P0420 possible trouble areas:
- Gas leakage from exhaust system
- A/F sensor (sensor 1)
- Heated Oxygen (HO2) sensor (sensor 2)
- Front exhaust pipe (Three–Way Catalytic Converter [TWC])
My guess is that you have an aftermarket header that eliminated first cat, so your fix would be to get this famous cheap anti-fouler mod. If that does not help - then a real 02 simulator, if not - put stock cat back ;)
