Default Check engine light on after CAI

Just noticed the check engine light is on after installing my Injen Cool Air Intake. Is this normal or is it something I should be concerned about. Installed it Saturday don't know if its been on the whole time.

Did you disconnect the battery (few minutes) and reset the ECU after you installed it?

Try Autozone to get the code read (free)?

Maybe clean the MAF and reset again?

hold down the trip ODO on the speedo before you turn on your car 5 bars should show on the trip counter. keep on holding it till the 5 bars count down. The CEL should be gone till you do something else to your engine.

the CEL and main light are totally different

bring your car to autozone and have them read the CEL code

I reset the ECU and cleaned the MAF there was a bit of black dust on it so i wiped it down with a paper towel and got rid of all of it. Waited a half hour for it to reset and good as new no CEL. Thanks all.
