So this weekend I wanted to get the engine bay all degreased and oh so nice and clean..

I wanted to spray some biodegradable degreaser in there and pressure wash it with a hot water generator/washer we have here at work, but wanted to get some input first...

Any recommendations...

make sure your engine is cooled down.... I've honestly sprayed the living **** out of mine and never had a problem... just be careful around the fuse box....

Side note, SCS site is down I know... you rolling with us on Sunday? I think I'm going to arrange a meet up Saturday to clean the cars.

 

That was my big worry is water getting into something and getting all f*ed up...

Yea, I noticed the site was down... Yea still planning on heading out that way on Sunday... Can you PM me the info on it, as I can't get it off of the site...

Also how late is Joe at the dealership... I was going to try to roll over there to get some stickers...

 

i thought...you were supposed to spray it up, and have the car running while doing it...with the degreaser, power washer, and heat from it running? i could be wrong. that could be stupid lol

i usually just spray a ____ load of simple green in the engine with the pressure washer, then leave it in there while i wash the car and then power wash it off. I just be carefull around wires and electronics. I've never had problems with power washing my engines.
