okay here is the problem my clutch pedal is really loose and the car doesnt want to speed up past like 20mph. here is the step by step

at a stop i put my car in first gear and let the clutch out and accelerate but i have to start to accelerate at like 5.5 to like 6.5 x1000 rpms to acctualy get any if at all movement and if i press on the gas harder it moves a little more but i smell clutch fluid, i feel like i might of burned through my clutch but people might have said maybe throught or even the clutch cable is loose. i wanna get some advise maybe someone has had some problem like this,

or if i havnt given a good accurate description than u guys can ask and i will try to give more detail on the problem!

sounds to me like you need a new clutch. how many miles do you have?

 

burnt clutch. learn to drive stick.

 

it has about 26,000 miles

and its not about learning to drive stick this is my 3rd manual car, more like this is my dailydriver and chicago tollway traffic is all about stop and go!! i am just leaning towards burned cltuch too!!!

 

errrrrrr we're all wrong transmission shaft is broken

 

did u check if ur slave cylinder moves? mine poped out once and had to be replaced ur still under warranty

 

in a turn of events it was the clutch!!!!
