Default Code P0441 after getting new engine

So I picked up my car yesterday and so far I drove about 60miles. A few hours ago the CEL went on and I went to autozone. The code is P0441 - I think that has something to do with EVAP or also a vacuum leak at the engine .....

Can someone comment on this. What should I be checking ...and where. Thanks,

I couldnt find any leak - I reset my ecu and I want to see if it comes back on. I pushed all the tubes in and fixed one of the clamps - I doubt my changes did anything so we shall see what happens

gas cap, if thats not it you have a leak on the intake tube to your EGR valve. If that isnt it it is a faulty vaccum solenoid or a bad EGR valve

It plugs into the vac port near the throttle body, I THINK. I mean, dont plug that into the vac port, get a hose that goes from the end of the thing you were holding, into the vac line near the throttle.

I'll take a picture of it tonight and hopefully the flash will expose the spot haha. There should be a little gold port attached to your throttle body that should have a hose on it to that thing your're holding. I'll snap a shot whenI get off of work.

Umm id have to double check on my car but it looks like they may have put the hose from the tb on the piece that its supposed to mount with rather than the opening of the valve. take off the hose going to the tb and look in there and see if its actually a opening going into the valve or not.

Take it back and make them fix their mistake so they don't make it again on someone else's car. Didn't a dealer put this in?

I just looked at the factory service manual and confirmed - the line from your tb is going to the wrong piece of the valve - you basically have it connected to nothing - remove the tube and connect it to the other port directly on the bottom of the valve - d/c batt for 20 min and reconnect - everything should be good to go
