Depends on your state if its not street legal. For rain depends if you play Uboat commander and then if you do you better have the bypass filter inplace to keep the vaccum cleaner effect from sucking up the water.

SO NORMAL RAIN DRIVING SHOULD NOT AFFECT MY INTAKE IF THE INTAKE IS IN THE FENDER WELL.

F-ing SEARCH! shoot. if you would spend more time searching, and less time putting on caps lock you wouldve found the answeres to your questions.

UAZSAX1, i was in the same position as you when i was a newb. But listen when they say search.. it helped me through. but anyway, i believe the Injen CAI's (alone) numbers are the best out of all the intakes right now (correct me if im wrong).. so you should look into that. i got mine for 260 shipped but this was a long time ago.. yes, you use drive with it everyday. keep in mind that it's NOT carb-legal.. there isn't ANY carb legal intakes right now so please dont start another thread asking if there is any. I don't know if carb applies to alabama though.

WELL AEM's box claims its carb legal. but i dont think theres an actual sticker on the intake. i think it might be pending.. even the TRD one that toyota released isnt carb legal. if you do plan on getting an intake. remember to clean the filter after so many miles.

AEM is NOT CARB approved. All of the boxes are just generic. It's not even pending. There's a link around here somewhere that shows on AEM's site that the tC one is NOT approved.

But people need to realize that the CARB approval ONLY matters in CA.
