I don't know how to measure HP increase, although I can definitely tell there's a difference in my tC since I got the AEM CAI installed- anybody know around how many HP this gives you in a boost?

I haven't noticed any appreciable difference in my mpg- anyone else?

 

Take it off your car, go to a measured course and time 3 of your runs. Put it back on, run the course a few more times, compare times between the two.

From that, you can calculate if adding it to your car did anything.

Doesnt have the TRD/AEM intake dyno'd. That thread is old as dirt too..

 

It did give me a ballpark range, which is nice. But of course, i'd like to see my own dyno'd. Guess i'll have to wait and guess!

Says that it adds 15hp. Is this true?

 

nop, no Intake gives 15hp, most I have seen is 7whp and it was with the Injen one.

 

An additional 4.5WHP & 6.5 ft/lb Torque over stock!

its an intake... im going to say 2 or 3 HP tops.

You mostly feel it on the butt dyno too

Maybe the red one shows more horse power, because it look better.

THEN, I'll add lots of vinyl... who needs turbos when you have a red AEM intake with vinyls, those two will be an easy 50 whp
