Default Cost for a resonator and installation on mid-pipe on tC

I searched like crazy and, I cannot seem to find out how much it should cost for a resonator to be welded onto the stock mid-pipe of the tC. I stopped by Monroe muffler and brake here in Collegeville, PA. and they said that welding a resonator to our stock exhaust (which he said is really tough to do with our stainless steel mid-pipe) would not be an option, and that my only solution would be to buy a full magnaflow exhaust. It would still leave me with a ton of rasp and that damn thing is about $550 and would leave my Greddy Ti-C exhaust useless. If anyone knows of a place that will hook me up with a kick ___ resonator/ weld job near the Collegeville area it would be greatly appreciated.

Um........they just wanted to sell you an exhaust.......

if it is the stock midpipe the cost including the resonator is gonna be at worst $100.

Stainless is no harder to weld than any other metal,so if it is an aftermarket midpipe,it can be welded by turning up the amps on welder like 10% tops.....

Goto another shop.

BZinn1: I just have a stock mid-pipe. If it's around that price, I would be ecstatic! Thank you for the sage advice

I paid $75 for the OEM CAT to be removed and replaced with a high flow CAT as well as two resonators installed in the mid-pipe.

You're better off finding one of those generic "lifetime muffler" shops. They'd be a lot more likely to do custom work like that.
