Default Custom exhaust soon

So around christmas ive decided to get a custom exhaust built. Im getting it with maderal bent pipes, resonator, and a muffler.
1.What else would i need to make it sound loud and agressive? Just like an evo. Not a honda

2. Should i buy an invidia s-pipe and have them build around that or no?

3. Anyone know a good shop around the clearwater area that can do this. Otherwise im just gonna go to a local shop. Figured it might help to ask and get someone to do it with expertise

1. nothing. you want to sound like an evo? buy one. you won't sound like a honda.. it's a toyota motor.

2. whatever you want.

3. nope. you're asking in the wrong area.

header gives off rasp, correct. but there are ways to correct it. unless you just want sound, in which case just pick up a hks and call it a day.

there really no way to tell until you just do it.
also size of pipes, resonator, and muffler will have a play in it.

s-pipe is one of the more restrictive parts of the exhaust system, so switching that out will give you a tiny boost in power and sound.

So buy an invidia spipe and get everything i said before built around that and that will give me the best sound i can get basically.

A 27 inch manaflow resanator will take care of the rasp completely. Add a nice oem style exhaust and it will have a very nice sound.

2.5 is unecessary on an N/A car. ive had both 2.5 and 2.25. the 2.5 was a little overkill and had a little rasp even without a header. The 2.25 sounds perfect, but again its hard to say anything because there are so many variable that will make the answer diff.

You dont nead a resonator unless your getting a header!

If you want to you can though but its really unecessary.

Will going from a 2.5 to a 2.25 really make a difference??

i went from a basic bolt on 2.5 catback to a 2.25 and honestly yes i noticed a diff. there is no more rasp anywhere through the powerband, i can rev. it all the way to redline with no rasp and it just all around sounds better.

Wow yeah i guess 2.25 it is!
And instead of buying a new 160 dollar s pipe couldnt they just make me one with the exhaust?

Okay so ive been doing some researching and i really like the Ptuning exhaust. If im making it custom what would i have to do to get a really close sound to the ptuning exhaust. Or is this as good as its gonna get.
