Default Custom Performance Engineering MAF Ci Sytem for TC

Well for how everything works please visit these guys at www.cp-e.com just turn in my tc to them this past weekend, they will do a run with a prototype, if it makes power they will develop it, just to give you guys and idea, the Subaru STI system made average gains for 21 hp and 20 ftlbs, and it peak at 36 hp and 31 ftlbs. So lets support these guys, pretty much is a cumtom made maf system, and a Chip back up to the stock ECU, by the end of next week i should be able to tell you all, if it will be develop, feel free to post any questions, thank you.

Here's more proof
The Mazda6s MAFci System™ offers average gains of 16.58 hp and 15.85 ft lbs., with peak differences of 24.03 hp and 20.35 ft lbs. Please note how the entire CPE graph is above the stock graph. It is average hoursepower that is important and is the factor that will bring quarter mile times down.

according to there site the 4banger mazda6 had these gains "The Mazda6i MAFci™ System offers average gains of 8.1 hp and 7.7 ft lbs., with peak gains of 12.0 hp and 10.1 ft lbs." so i'm guessing thats closer to what we should expect, but who knows.

All of the systems they have listed go for between $500 - $600, so, we can probably expect the tC version to be around there (I'm guessing $525).

Too much $$ in my opinion. 10 horses is'nt worth it.

A pre-mapped piggy-back ECU is going to cost you about $500 - $800 from just about any manufacture. And although I agree it is a lot of cash, a 6-10 whp increase across the entire power band and another 10 - 12 whp peak increase is a very nice gain, IMO. Oh, and their kits also come w/ an intake.

Well the system i believe will be price depending on horse power. So like someone said, yeah in the four banger only got 8.1 but that's average, it top at 12 and that is what other manufactures will tell you their intakes makes. I will get more info as soon as possible, they did the stock base run on their house dyno and it put down 123 at the wheels, and tonight they will be dynoing the prototype system, also, remember this was their in house dyno, that they use pretty much just for tunning pourposes, they will get a dynojet run once the finish the system, if you have any questions please feel free to contact them, also their system are also tunable, kind of like a power commander for bikes, and they are planing on releasing the software for that, and like i said this is not just a resistor is and actuall ECU piggy back of their on cutom made chip, their ECU has been in development for 5 years , just so you guys know, that these guys did not make this overnight.

not bashing but the price is very reasonable and well worth it.

if we are comparing this to HONDATA and saying its relatively the same.

the MAF actually doesnt only give you 10-15 hp but it opens up the cars brain and increases the potential HP gains on mods as well.

for example: K%N CAI gives 6hp, with the MAF i might boost up to 10hp or something like that from the CAI ALONE. something like that

this would be ideal to bring all the bolt ons (I/H/E/Tb) working in harmony however isn't the APEX programmable so later on down the road an upgrade wouldnt be necessary... for the same price i dont know....or will you guys be coming out w/ a programmable unit as well like the HONDATA K-PRO???

They do have a programable unit as well, but it will be up to them to release it, since they dont want people to start trying to tune their cars and not knowing what their doing, and BANG ooo my engine blew, it was CP-E fault, because in a way, i mean this guys design the system if you can tune the car better than them i doub it, but im sure, this system will be equivalent to the hondata in a way. Also the price is not down yet, depends on power made, and if it does not make any, it will not be produce.

sounds good.....if it does get produced...maybe pre-programmed maps for I/H/E will have some potential
