my friend and i are going to build a custom turbo kit on my tC. he got a turbo from a guy that drives a gti and i was wondering how much will all the other parts cost? and has anyone done a custom turbo and ill update u guys on wut turbo it is..my friend is a toyota tech so i trust him wit my car lol but any one that has built one befor will be great to hear from u guys

Just cause he is a Toyota tech dosent mean he can build a turbo kit.. Hope you have a spare car just incase you run into issues or blow somthing up.. Best of luck... Oh and the VW turbo may be to small for your application, depending on which one it is.

 

well it still in the works after talking to a friend that turboed his tC and the issues he has i might change my mine and just supercharge lol but for now the turbo idea is something we are just messing around with

 

well, supercharging might not be ur best bet either....
