Well, plenty of people are lowered as you are and the only axle I have heard of breaking was from running around 500 whp on a drag strip.
If you are doing a lot of burnouts and drag racing, you are most likely breaking them that way. I would stay away from the "tuner" shop
When lowering the car, you are still within the stock travel of the suspension. When people put overly high lifts on a 4X4, work is needed because the CV joint (if not a solid axle) bottoms out due to the harsh angle. That is not happening here.
And why did you mention recall? No one else is having the issue, they dont need to recall them.

first... s-tech's don't lower you 2.0 in the front, and 1.5 in the back. it's actually 2.4 in the front, and 2.0 in the back. so that could already be an indication that your s-tech's aren't really "s-tech's". and you wonder why your axles keep breaking? you stated it your self... "i kept replacing them thinking it was because of all those burnouts and racing,.."

im having trouble with my left one right now. on progress springs.but i have a problem cus the guy who did my clutch messed up. i cant blame him cus he is my ex gf dad and it was free labor. ive already changed 1 left axle. the hubring keeps getting lose.any one know what the specs ae to torque it down?

if youre asking me, when i turn corners .5mph or so you can hear something.not sure what to call it.it only does it when im going slow and sharp turns.once i get the car straight, it will go away.he stripped the threads. i dont know why.
